Prospective Families: Financing Tuition
Tuition Costs for 2010-2011
Despite our best efforts to manage our financial situation by only having to reduce expenses to balance our budget, we still find it necessary to increase our tuition. The tuition for the 2010-2011 school year for one child will be $2,228.00, or an increase of approximately $0.84 per day.
We recently reviewed a tuition report from the archdiocese and discovered that our average tuition collected of $1,705 is still the lowest in this region. The total cost to educate a child at Holy Angels is $4,546, a figure that when it is compared to the public schools is also dramatically lower than their per pupil fee, further proving that our faculty is able to do more with less! The parish support for the school for 2010-2011 will be $519,000. This represents the strength of our parish’s belief in the value of a Catholic school education. It also further illustrates the Parish’s contribution to each child, and why we need each and every member of our parish to give to the Sunday collections.

Tuition Assistance:
Tuition assistance is available for our students. We use the School and Student Service for Financial Aid to determine eligibility for tuition assistance. We have an annual drive to raise funds for tuition assistance. Thanks to the generosity of those who participated in last year’s drive we will be able to distribute approximately $54,000 to students for the 2010-2011 school year.
