Prospective Families: Standardized Tests
The National percentile (NP) represents the achievement of Holy Angels students with regard to the scores of all students participating in the test for a given year. A NP of 71 shows that a Holy Angels student scored higher than 71% of all students taking the test. Unlike in most tests where 50 percent correct is typiclly considered a poor grade, the 50th NP is the national average - the middle score - with half of the students scoring above this percentile and half of them scoring below.
Students at Holy Angels typically score significantly above the 50th NP.
