All of our teachers are certified under the new catechist standards. The Blueprint for Your Child’s Educational Foundation

Holy Angels School is dedicated to developing a strong foundation for your child’s life, intellectually and spiritually. In order to build that foundation, Holy Angels School has designed academic programs and the supportive environment that must exist for your child’s successful education. We strongly believe in emphasizing basic academics and instilling high moral values while teaching and living the Catholic faith. Your child’s early education is a singular life event. It is also an important one. When you choose to give your child the skills and values they will need for a lifetime, it is a priceless gift. Holy Angels students have the advantage of small class size, quality education from quality teachers, strong extracurricular programs, parental involvement, parish support and an environment of self discipline and respect. Education

 Holy Angels has the unique opportunity to provide a religious education alongside an academic curriculum. We teach the Catholic catechism and moral values through lessons, personal example and class projects. The students attend Mass once a week and are encouraged to be a part of the celebration. Our students are well prepared spiritually for the life ahead.

Holy Angels School also provides a solid academic program. We prepare students for high school and beyond by focusing on the basics. Attendance is high; student to teacher ratios are low. Our parents are involved in the educational process and regularly help in the classrooms or special events. Holy Angels School has a well equipped Science Lab, Computer Lab (for grades K – 8) and Library. Our students consistently score significantly above average on the nationally recognized standardized Terra Nova Test.The test approved by the Diocese.

Support

 Holy Angels School is particularly proud of our teaching staff and their dedication to the students during both class time and extracurricular activities. It is not unusual for our teachers to take extra time for a student who needs individual support. We have a low turn-over rate within the teaching staff-every teacher wants to educate in our unique environment.

Support from Holy Angel’s Parish is a key component to the success of our programs. The Parish is dedicated to providing quality Catholic and academic education to our children. The parents of Holy Angels students show their strong support through volunteering at the school and by taking an interest in their child’s education at home.

Extracurricular

Beyond the academics at Holy Angels exists strong extracurricular programs. Football, basketball (boys and girls), cheerleading, cross country, volleyball, track, chorus and band are all fully supported and enthusiastically pursued. The junior high students may also participate in the annual play production or as a TEAM volunteer visiting Central Elementary School once a week to help students read. The dedication of our teachers and parents make the extracurricular activities especially successful at Holy Angels.

Nurturing Environment

 The environment your child is exposed to during their school career goes beyond the bricks and mortar of a building. A nurturing environment is firmly established at Holy Angels School. The teachers care, the parents are involved and Christ is present in our school every day. We are family oriented-younger children are in the same building as their older siblings. Older children are encouraged to positively influence the younger students and are assigned as guardians through the Angel Crews. Holy Angels School is a place where every student matters and where self discipline and respect are highly regarded.
