PHILOSOPHY OF HOLY ANGELS SCHOOL

Holy Angels School is a Christ-centered community that strives to educate children in partnership with their parents, to provide a curriculum integrated with Gospel values, and to encourage all students to seek and follow their faith.

MISSION

Holy Angels School is dedicated to the teachings of the Catholic Church. The school acknowledges that children are gifts from God and focuses on their faith formation, academic achievement, and Christian responsibility.

BELIEF

Impelled by the Gospel message, Holy Angels School believes that:

Students will know what it means to be Catholic in the contemporary world and God’s loving plan for them in this world.

Students will be academically, emotionally, socially, and religiously prepared, regardless of race, creed, or ethnicity to meet the demands of a changing and culturally diverse world.

Educators will continue their own faith formation in order to teach and model Gospel values.

Educators will be committed to continue professional development to meet the diverse needs of the various students in their charge.

Parents are the prime educators of the children. The school community needs to work as partners with the parents, for it is they who inspire their children by their example, interest, and support.

The school community is one that has Christ and His teachings at its center.

The school community will provide the means for students to reach their God-given potential.
