COMMITTEE DESCRIPTIONS
ART SUPPLIES – Chairperson is responsible for ordering and maintaining art supplies.
BOOK FAIR – Chairperson coordinates the event to be held for one week where students have the opportunity to purchase books, posters, media, etc. during their classroom/lunch period.
BOX TOPS/SOUP, CHICKEN, BREAD LABELS – Chairperson is responsible for collecting, counting, and redeeming qualifying tops/labels. Money earned will purchase items for the school.
CANDY SALE – Chairperson(s) are responsible for ordering, sorting, and managing all candy sales. This event takes place at the very beginning of the school year.
CELL PHONES/INK/TONER – Turn in at School Office.
EVERYBODY COUNTS – Chairperson coordinates a date and volunteers to provide a program for students to experience life with disabilities.
FATHER/DAUGHTER DANCE – Chairperson(s) coordinate a date, time, and ticket sale for this annual event, usually in the winter months. This is open to K-8, and provides a time for daughters/fathers to interact at a social event.
MAKE-A-SUNDAE – Chairperson coordinates a volunteer schedule in making sundaes during Fridays in the month of May.
MARCO’S PIZZA – Chairperson coordinates a monthly date for Holy Angels to receive a percentage of sales and the homeroom with the most sales receiving a pizza party.
MARKET DAY – Chairperson coordinates a year round program which offers parents and neighbors the opportunity to buy restaurant quality food products each month.
MOTHER/SON BOWLING – Chairperson(s) coordinate a date, time, and ticket sale for this annual event, usually in the winter/spring. This is open to K-8, and provides a time for sons/mothers to interact at a social event.
SECRET SANTA – Chairperson coordinates a workshop (donations requested) to give our students the opportunity to purchase small items for their family members at Christmas.
SPECIAL EVENTS – Chairperson coordinates assemblies and various programs to be held throughout the year, such as COSI.
THANKSGIVING BASKETS – Chairperson coordinates the donation of food items from all grades to benefit needy families in our parish/community.
UNIFORM EXCHANGE – Chairperson coordinates the uniform exchange program that offers parents an opportunity to buy/sell uniforms on a scheduled day in August.
WREATH SALE – Chairperson(s) coordinate the sale of an assortment of wreaths, garlands, etc. during the holiday time. Delivery is usually just before Thanksgiving.
